KITTEN GALLERY - SOME OF OUR RECENT KITTENS NOW GROWN UP
Tobysden Hullaballoo (Llandar Sabu x Wildside Manasa) DOB 20/10/06
Tobysden Hullaballoo aged 11 weeks
Tobysden Balou aged 11 weeks
Hully and Balou are delightful boys from Manasa and Sabu's first litter - this has been a wonderful mating which we hope to repeat later this year.
Tobysden Fang ofBaelin aka."Sam" (Annera Excalibur X Tobysden Evita)
Sam is one of our 2005 kittens - now aged 10 months he is a very handsome boy with a beautifully rosetted coat pattern. He has a sweet gentle temperament and lives with his brother Ferodo and loving owners Matt and Nicola in Shropshire.
Tobysden Broadsword aka."Arthur" (Annera Excalibur X Tobysden Luvinthemist)
Arthur is another of our 2005 kittens who lives in Shropshire with Mike, his adoring slave!
Watch this page for more details - it will be regularly updated.
(Updated 3/3/07)
Our kittens are reared indoors and have the run of the house and our enclosed cat garden in fine weather as soon as they are big enough to be safe. Every effort is made to introduce them to as much as possible during the critical 2-7 week socialisation period. As well as getting lots of cuddles they will be used to being groomed, having their claws clipped and mouths opened - for easy medication and "vetting-in" - before they go to their new homes. They are all GCCF registered, vaccinated, thoroughly wormed and come with a generous kitten pack including a comprehensive kitten care manual and 6 weeks free insurance with Pet Plan. Although we have no flea problems at Tobysden all our kittens get a spot-on flea prevention treatment before they leave as an added precaution. We do not allow our kittens to go to their new homes until they are at least 13 weeks old but once you have reserved a kitten you are most welcome to visit often - we positively encourage you to come and get to know your kitten before you take him/her home. We care greatly about the welfare of our kittens once they have left here and help and advice is always available by telephone.
Older kittens and retired breeding cats may occasionally be available as quality pets to loving permanent homes. It is difficult to assess the full potential of a kitten under 3 months and we sometimes keep them a little longer as prospective breeding/show cats - sadly we cannot keep them all due to limited space and I am not a believer in the well known saying that "you can never have too many cats"! Overcrowding leads to stress and build up of infection which in turn cause disease. Our cats are happy and healthy because they are not overcrowded and are able to find their own space when they want a bit of peace and quiet.
